Special Report

Choosing a new home, whether you’re buying or renting is never easy and shouldn’t be taken lightly. To make the process easier for you, we’ve assembled a checklist of 17 critically important questions to ask before renting just any apartment.

The questions below are questions you should ask any landlord during your visit. This questions checklist has been designed for you to just print and bring to the viewing with you. Simple 🙂 You can even make notes below the questions.

We recommend you ask all 17 questions. WHY? Two reasons. First of all, it will better inform you of your future home and whether or not there will be issues. If the landlord is stumbling or doesn’t know these answers, consider this a red flag. Secondly, it will give you a better chance of being selected as the client because it will demonstrate how you’re a serious client.

IMPORTANT NOTE: At Visture Property Group we don’t call clients “tenants”. We know this is the ‘norm’ in our industry but we don’t like the ‘client’ and ‘landlord’ names. We think they are archaic. We are in the business of real estate rental and you are the client (in our mind). If you find a ‘landlord’ who also thinks this way, we think you should be thrilled and snap up that apartment.

The most important question in our estimation is #17. It’s a yes or no answer and will tell you many things about the property. You’ll see when you get there.
